CAYSH
– Croydon Association for Young Single Homeless – provide supported
housing, supported lodgings and
housing advice to young single homeless people aged 16-25 from the Croydon
and Greenwich
areas. From our trainee staff to our Board of Trustees we have an
exceptional staff team who are making a real difference. Due to continued
growth and expansion of services we are looking to recruit the following
posts to work with our young people.
Supported Housing Officers £23,097 to £27,009 pay
rise pending Ref: SH908
You
could be based in a variety of different teams, working within the areas of
floating support, supported housing and supported lodgings. Central to your
work will be providing support services and promoting employment, training
and education to young people. You will play a key role in delivering our
driving goal - enabling young people to move towards independent living and
housing.

You
could be someone who has never done this kind of work before but believe you
have the awareness and ability to work with young people and the capability
to grow into the role. Trainees will receive a tailored induction,
mentoring programme and the opportunity to attend a day release course in
Housing Studies. The traineeship is for 12 months and, if successfully
completed, a permanent Supported Housing Officer role could be offered.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a strong track record of
success, who can work closely with internal and external partners to
deliver our driving goal – to empower young people to fulfil their
potential. Working alongside the Chief Executive, this role is for someone
who wants to truly make their mark in delivering tailored solutions to our
existing services, as well as being core to the development of new
initiatives.
With extensive experience and knowledge of young people either in a housing
or youth and community setting, you will have a real passion and
understanding of the needs of young people, and a strong background in
managing and developing service provision. An influential and persuasive
leader able to engage and build relationships with a variety of
stakeholders, you will ensure that high quality service delivery reaches
our service users in the most effective way, while placing them at the
heart of the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a
respected organisation that has spent 25 years building its reputation and
the quality of services in a local context, and to be instrumental in our
growth.
