How much did we raise? The CAYSH CUP - Playing against homelessness!

Local businesses came together for the inaugural CAYSH Cup, a five-a-side football tournament raising £3,222.96 to support young people experiencing homelessness across Croydon and South London.
Bringing together teams from Linnk Group, FSB Insurance Service, Interchange, Zotefoams and CAYSH, the tournament saw businesses go head-to-head on the pitch, united by one shared goal: helping young people build safer, more stable and independent futures.
After a competitive tournament, Zotefoams were crowned the first-ever CAYSH Cup champions, taking home the trophy and bragging rights. More importantly, the event raised vital funds and brought local businesses together to support a cause affecting young people across the community.

Bringing local businesses together for a shared cause
The CAYSH Cup reflects CAYSH’s growing focus on strengthening relationships with local businesses and the wider community. Under the leadership of its CEO and through the work of its Growth team, the charity is developing new ways to engage businesses, build meaningful partnerships and create more opportunities to support young people.
The tournament puts this approach into action, giving businesses an opportunity to connect through sport while making a tangible difference. CAYSH hopes to build on this initiative to develop lasting partnerships that benefit both the local community and the young people it supports.

Why the CAYSH Cup matters
CAYSH is an established South London charity with more than four decades of experience supporting homeless and vulnerable young people. Its services combine supported accommodation with practical support across housing, financial wellbeing, counselling, employment, education and independent living.
The charity has particular expertise supporting care-experienced young people and those affected by trauma, isolation and exploitation. It helps young people develop the skills and confidence to sustain a home, manage their finances and progress towards education, training and employment.
In 2025, CAYSH helped 22 young people move into employment, 18 progress into college and 48 move into more independent housing.
Funds raised through the CAYSH Cup will help support practical workshops, real-world projects and employability programmes, giving young people opportunities to build confidence, develop skills and take positive steps towards independence.
The tournament is about more than football or a single day of fundraising. It is an opportunity to turn local business involvement into meaningful support for young people facing homelessness.

The impact continues beyond the final whistle
The CAYSH Cup is part of a growing network of business support for the charity, with further fundraising and longer-term partnerships helping to maintain momentum.
A director of FSB Insurance Service will take on the London Halloween Walk on Saturday 31 October 2026, building on more than £2,500 already raised for CAYSH by FSB Insurance Service in 2026. Participants can choose between a 10km and 25km walking challenge through central London.

Interchange has also chosen CAYSH as its Charity of the Year for 2027, creating further opportunities to raise funds and awareness of youth homelessness. Meanwhile, Linnk Group and Zotefoams partnered with CAYSH in August 2026, adding to the growing network of businesses supporting the charity.
These relationships demonstrate how the CAYSH Cup can act as a starting point for longer-term collaboration, encouraging more businesses to get involved in tackling youth homelessness.
